Four kids make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that entertains Neel’s younger siblings is the same one Chewbacca’s family watches in the infamous The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).

From the previews I thought it was going to be terrible. I only watched the first episode and was amazed at how much I liked it.
A kind of Spielbergian Star Wars
I have high hopes for this one. It may be aimed at kids, but I still enjoy this style of storytelling in my old age.
There’s even a bit of social commentary
The first episode was funny and engaging, easy to read, and didn’t take itself too seriously. So far, it’s the second best show behind Endor, but that could change after watching more episodes.

I think this show is a good direction for the Disney/Star Wars combo. One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of the biggest TV and streaming releases this month.
