Strangeness as a whole consists of elements that McCarthy “took from horror films.” The Wooden Man was inspired by Jewish folklore about the golem, a large clay figure that can be brought to life through rituals that fulfill the will of its creator. While there are one or two jump scares, they mostly consist of atmospheres and situations that would easily scare anyone in a similar setting. This is the right way to make a horror movie, in which the idea of something causes fear, not cheap fear reactions that are effective only because of loud sounds. Everything even starts with an impossible solution that pulls you in without much effort. In addition, there is always something to focus on that constantly attracts your audience. Saw, but did not describe.
I have only two mournings
This leads to mysteries and puzzles that will keep you interested throughout the process. Overall, this is a fun film and the acting skills of the entire cast are competent and decent. First, the motives of some characters are essentially meaningless. It could be argued that these people are essentially psychopaths, but even in this case their choice is too radical to be believed. Absolutely ridiculous.
The second is the final wall
I can’t tell without spoilers, but the idea is very cool, but the implementation is pretty bad. None of this detracted from my overall enjoyment of the film, but it didn’t leave an indelible impression, which is sad.
