A grieving therapist begins to tell her clients exactly what she is thinking
Ignoring his education and ethics, he finds himself making a huge difference in people’s lives—including his own. The cast of the film "Shrinking" shares the key moments that defined their characters in Season 1 and reveals who has the best Harrison Ford impersonation. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford-type” look.
and would test with people like Ford
Segel told Goldstein that they needed to pitch the project to Ford first, thinking that he would immediately reject it, but that other people would at least hear that the project had been offered to Harrison Ford, which sparked interest from other major actors. Eventually, Goldstein spoke to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still didn’t understand what he had done to convince him, but he was excited nonetheless.

I watched the first two episodes and found them interesting. Part of the reason is that I found it to be something grounded in the reality of a therapist who needs therapy and wants to communicate with their patients to unexpectedly overcome their own problems. I also respect the way it’s presented – it’s not doing something that other therapists should be doing, and that’s pretty clear.
The program is not for everyone
It wasn’t the silly situations of other shows like Loot, but it’s still the start of a series and I’ll be watching it. That said, I like the depth of characters that don’t feel like caricatures; These are the people I’m interested in meeting. The final season of “What We Do in the Shadows” is one of the biggest TV and streaming debuts of the month.
