I never read the books (or even heard of them) but I've still been looking forward to this ever since I first heard about it and then my expectations grew even more after watching the trailers. Well, I can tell you that without a doubt this show has not only met those expectations but surpassed them in every way.
This has so many great twists and turns it will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout each episode
This is probably best binged watched because of all the great cliffhangers it's hard to wait a week to see what happens next. I'm glad this got renewed so quickly because this is a show that can stay exciting for at least a few more seasons.
I also hate getting invested in a show for said show to get canceled without a proper ending

I know a lot of people are going to roll their eyes at this review, but hey, that’s just my opinion. I thought the actors did a good job with what they had to work with, but what really threw me off was at the very beginning when the leads were sitting around the fire and at one point they suddenly stand up and hold hands… No, it doesn’t happen like that, there was very little preparation to produce a hand hold at that point.
The CGI or whatever it’s called was so fake
The fact that the lead actress had that much confidence in a hat was nothing short of absurd, she was willing to throw away her potential life partner for a hat – really? As another reviewer stated, it was a total blunder and a huge blunder! I gave it a 6 for acting, some parts were okay, especially with the grandfather, I found him endearing.
