Then there’s Denpasar Wingit 2: Miss K (2024 )
Line of Events
Raina’s life is in danger after she opens the door and enters an unnumbered room in a hotel run by her sister Fey. The figure of a white-haired and skinned woman also makes her presence known.. We took it from the movie True Story of a Haunted Hotel in Semarang with the initial letter “S”.. This movie is basically set in Indonesia with a woman named "Ningrum".
Naturally, being a little curious, she immediately sets out to investigate
(Hami Diah) is hired as a maid in a hotel not too far from Jakarta. On her first day, she is told that the 3rd floor is under construction and to avoid it at all costs. Seeing no problem with this instruction, she readily agrees and begins her first day of work. Then, to her surprise, she hears a noise that sounds like a woman sobbing – and it’s coming from one of the rooms on the 3rd floor.
Indeed, three days later, at midnight, an invisible being kills her
Then, when he enters the room where the voice seems to be coming from, he stares in horror at an extremely pale, white-haired woman who, after muttering strange words to him, runs out of the room in sheer terror. The scene then cuts to a "Raina" (Luna Maya) being transported to a hotel she has just inherited from her father. Traveling with her is her adopted, underage daughter, "Fey" (Bianca Hello), who is eager to start a new life in this exotic place. When they arrive, she is greeted by her in-laws, who have been looking for the place for several years.
And like everyone else who comes to this hotel, she is told to avoid the 3rd floor at all costs
Unfortunately, it is not long before she hears a woman sobbing from one of the rooms on that floor – and that is when the horror begins all over again. Now, rather than give away more, I’ll just say that this was an okay horror film that benefited primarily from its dark atmosphere and beautiful scenery. And while the acting was decent, the film was somewhat let down by a fairly predictable plot and an unsatisfying ending. Still, while it’s by no means a great horror film, it mostly held my attention and I rated it accordingly. Average.
