Nothing came close to that until now
I have to say that I was lucky enough to watch The Bureau a couple of years ago, and honestly, it’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever watched. There’s a correlation between the two series, apparently it was mentioned that it “had an impact”; with that, but tbh I wasn’t expecting a similar story. Don’t get me wrong, the series so far is incredible, great actors, good cinematography, but it wasn’t anything I hadn’t already seen in the French version. It’s too early to say how it’s going to turn out, but I recommend anyone who hasn’t seen The Bureau to watch it.
You won’t regret it
When Fassbender played a professional hitman in David Fincher’s The Killer and I saw him in the cast, I knew right away that he was a great choice for the role. These types of shows really require concentration when watching them, so you can stay up to date with all the characters in the story and their little details. You wouldn’t watch it while riding a bike on an indoor treadmill. Some people even find them slow-paced, maybe even boring, but it’s the qualities and complex personal struggles that the characters have, and the slow build-up of tension that makes them great in my opinion.
You either love these shows or you don’t, there’s no middle ground
