Line of Events
Twenty-five years after an environmental collapse rendered the Earth uninhabitable, a mother, father and son are trapped in their opulent bunker, trying to maintain hope and a sense of normalcy by clinging to the rituals of everyday life – until a stranger arrives, the girl who changes their happy routine. The son, a naive twenty-something who has never seen the outside world, is fascinated by the newcomer, and suddenly the delicate bonds of blind optimism that have held this wealthy clan together begin to unravel. As tensions rise, their seemingly idyllic existence begins to crumble and long-suppressed feelings of regret and resentment threaten to destroy the family’s fragile balance. Yet their confrontation with hard truths also points to another path, one based on acceptance, love and the capacity for change.
