Following the events of Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka the Penguin, makes a play to seize the reins of Gotham’s crime world. Except for the bat sign in the last shot of the season finale, we never got a Robert Pattinson cameo in “The Penguin.” In this short video, IMDb tries to answer: Where the hell was Batman?. Colin Farrell fought hard to make The Penguin smoke in Batman (2022), but to no avail. However, in his own series, the character is depicted as an occasional smoker, preferring to smoke cigars.
I’ve never seen Farell so invested in a character
An umbrella falls and the emblem changes to the Warner Bros logo. Starring Graham Norton i gosti: Lady Gaga/Demi Moore/Colin Farrell/Richard Ayoade/Jack Savoretti (2024). So, the first part is done and it was excellent. I mean, yeah, he’s wearing a fat suit, but you’d never know it.
He’s a Scorsese mobster, but there’s no foul language
His attitude, body language, voice all make you immerse yourself in the character and see only Penguin. No relation to the other live TV penguins, Burgess Meredith or Robin Lord Taylor. This is a mobster from New York, a wise guy. The plot is simple, similar to Lord Taylors Penguin in CW’s Gotham.

The Penguin is the middle man in a mafia organization. He spent his time until now, slowly moving up in the mafia, then the riddler blows up the city wall and the death of his boss in that movie, he sees a chance to move. Now the game of cross, double cross and, I think, triple cross begins. Very entertaining and highly recommended.
