SHA-3 support in Windows kernel In Windows 11 24H2, we also introduced several changes to the Server Message Block (SMB) protocol
These include changes to firewall rules, NTLM blocking support, dialect management, alternative network port connections, SMB over QUIC (an alternative to TCP and RDMA), and changes to SMB signing and encryption.
