Dahmer’s point of view
Line of Events
An anthology series about high-profile crimes or murderers that have gained public attention and notoriety. Evan Peters [Jeffrey Dahmer] says there was one rule Ryan Murphy [Creator] told them to follow entering the series: never tell him. "As an audience, you don’t really sympathize with him.
Cast: Jeremy Vine: Episode #5195 (2022)
You don’t really put yourself in his position. You prefer to look from the outside.". Many episodes feature a 3M Command(TM) tape in Jeffery Dahmer’s apartment kitchen, set no later than 1991.
The cinematography and music were also impressive
Evan Peters has seriously surpassed his work here. His acting was superb and his portrayal of Dahmer was perfect, everything from his clothes to his expressions was perfect, everything was perfect, down to the last minute details. Apart from him, the performances of the other characters (his father, mother, grandmother, Glenda Cleveland and the victims) were also excellent.
But overall it’s a must see
Both the writing and the script were decent, especially the fact that they didn’t take many creative liberties and as a result the story is close to the actual events. The only thing I found a bit disappointing was the length. The pacing was a bit slow, especially in the last few episodes, and I feel like the series could have easily been put into 8 episodes instead of 10.
Especially for those who are interested in crime thrillers
It realistically portrays one of the most notorious serial killers in our history, where those who tend to do so are not romanticized, but rather challenged. And that’s what makes it a bit unique and interesting to watch.
