Line of Events
Two young religious women are drawn into a game of cat and mouse in the house of a strange man. The end credits include the following statement: “No generative Al was used in the making of this film.” The acting was awesome. Hugh Grant plays the perfect psychopath who is creepy and at times funny. The film would be strong in the suspense/psychological thriller category without what I think is an unnecessary supposed supernatural scene that puts it in the horror category in my opinion. The premise of the movie is great and makes for a lot of interesting reflections on religion and how people believe things just because they’re told. Overall, it’s a thought provoking, fun scary movie. If you’re a horror fan, don’t wait. It’s more of a heart-pounding suspense movie!
