However, LaShawn Lynch’s performance as Bianca Pullman detracts from the series

The series’ cinematic style is refreshingly authentic, harking back to a time when storytelling was grounded and realistic. Her performance lacks the depth and expression needed for the role, which feels like a mistake.

If it weren’t for this casting issue, the series would easily be a 10/10

Hopefully, future episodes will keep the bar high and provide a satisfying conclusion. The new "Silo" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.

Windows 10 is a series of operating systems for personal computers produced by Microsoft as part of its Windows NT family of operating systems. American (English) remake of the French series HPI (2021)

It follows Morgan, a single mother of three, who, thanks to her extraordinary mind, is able to help solve a crime and rearrange evidence in her turn as a cleaner at the police department. Despite his extremely high IQ, excellent memory, and extensive knowledge of mysterious phenomena, Morgan makes a series of basic legal mistakes that no one who has ever watched a law show on TV would know to make. I’m tired of series that last a whole season or more. Tell me a solid story and conclusion in less than an hour! It delivers. Well paced, has some funny lines and is overall enjoyable to watch.

I’m really looking forward to more episodes

I just hope they don’t cancel it after one season like everyone does these days. A solid MC you want to root for.

I read Rivals a few years ago and enjoyed every page!

Follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as they have a longstanding rivalry that comes to a head.. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark..

The characters, especially Aidan Turner as Declan O’Hara, the upstanding journalist and David Tennant, the nasty Lord B are great!

It’s quite difficult to compare the book and its characters to its television adaptation, since we all bring our own perception of what certain characters should look and act like. Also, while we can read a book at our leisure, television has to move along at a pace that fits the format and doesn’t drag, so some characters or side story lines may have to be cut for time’s sake. That being said, yes, there are differences from the book, but none so great that it ruins the overall fun and entertainment value.

Makes us love Declan as much as we hate Lord B!

The 80s music is fantastic, although the one part I found annoying was the opening high pitched opera music, just not a good fit. As to all the sex scenes, yes, we could do without some, since we all have an imagination, but that would not be the book Cooper wrote. It was wonderful to spot Jilly Cooper herself in the restaurant lunch scene.

She looked as though she was thoroughly enjoying the show, as did I

The last episode ended quite different from the book, so I’m hoping there will be at least another season where we get to see what happens with Taggie and RCB . . .

And of course, we know nasty Lord B has to be around to wreak more havoc
